What socket will Conroe use? And what is currently considered the best Intel chipset that Conroe will use?

I NEVER keep up on anything Intel but it looks as if that may change...

And I know I could've searched on this, but maybe someone wants to educate me...
 
The best Intel chipset that Conroe use 975X Express Chipset or up. Conroe will release in summer and I heard Conroe will perform well than AM2 but no truth proof it's true so does it answer your question about Conroe?
