Ever since I change my mother board to Abit VA6, i'm getting no 3D(both OpenGL and D3D).
I can't play any 3D games.
they all crash+lock up while loading.
I have th latest driver dated May-22,00
I've tried reinstalling every driver, program, but nothing helps.
I've even formated my hard drive and fresh installed windows 98 SE but no difference .
What is wrong?????

PIII450mhz
Abit VA6
128mb sdram
CL riva TNT ultra
DirectX 7
Maxtor 19gig (13+6)
Montago A3D sound card (VA6's built-in sound card has been disabled)

I had a similar problem with my CL TNT2U on a Soyo-6VBA motherboard (with VIA chipset) about 6 months ago. I could not run any 3D games without crashing. I had all the latest drivers also. I solved the problem by going into the CL Blaster Control, under TWEAKS, and checking the box to "DISABLE AGP SUPPORT". This was suggested by a CL technician.

Apparently, this only disables sideband addressing and I did not see any noticable change in peformance. It has run stably ever since.

i had to reinstall windows 98 and the driver too.
the latest from CL tntaw9x.exe
I went to display properties but there is no blaster control.
there is nothing on display peroperites where I can edit settings like opengl, d3d........ i want to disable agp agin but i can't cuz nothing there.
I download blaster control thing from CL but that doesn't have option to disable AGP.
What happened? how can I get the blaster control back?
is there way to disable agp with Detonator 2 driver?
thankx
