I have NEVER seen this happen to Windows before! (2x speed games!)

Alright, i just realized something. It's the reason my character in Vice City runs when he should walk and sprints at inhuman speeds when he should run. It's the reason i can drive faster in that game than it can load textures. It's the reason people's handguns shoot at automatic speeds in Enter the Matrix, and firefights take far less than they should. Long story short: games on my machine run at 2X speed. Or at least those two games do, because WarCraft III runs fine. It's crazy, i've never had this happen before, nor heard of anything like this happening. What the hell do i do? Is there a way to fix this without formatting?

See, i play War3 online and it doesn't happen.

Try this app I wrote: setclockspeed.exe

Use setclockspeed 50 to cut your system clock speed in half.

Maybe your system is too fast, you're going to need to downgrade that 486 of yours 😉
