I graduated HS and College with only reading 3 or so books. I don't like reading books so I don't do it.

I probably haven't read more than half a dozen books cover to cover. I find reading fiction boring, and when reading non-fiction I generally skip to the sections I'm interested in.

Several occasions?

Does that mean in 20+ years, the number of times you've attempted to read a book can be counted on your fingers?

It was a while before I read my first. I was very glad when I did get into it, though, and it wasn't because there was a monkey off my back - it was because I loved the books I was reading. My first love was science fiction. I don't remember how I got into it. Well, it was probably because I made friends with a grown man (I was somewhere between 11 and 13 at the time, I guess), and he (very early 20's, and majoring in engineering) was into science fiction. He turned me on to some books. Let's see... Robert Heinlein's "The Puppet Masters" comes to mind. After that, I read a lot of other science fiction, including more novels and some short stories collections. I really loved the stuff. Not much into reading books lately, but I did read one recently, Laura Hillenbrand's (SP?) "Seabiscuit." That was an engrossing book.

Thanks to the documentary, you can no longer get "Supersized" at McDumbasses.

On a related note, someone spraypainted "GET FAT" over the last word on all the "Go Directly to McDonald's and Play" Monopoly billboards. :D
