i have my duron 600@800 **need help**

ok i have a a7v and i set the dipswitches so that it would be 8.0 and it worked. it booted up, now i tried 900, no go, then i try 850 no go. so im wondering why i cant get it to work? what can i do to try and see if i can get it to go up that high? do i have to mess with the voltage? i dont know where that is, except in the bios there is a v core voltage, and im guessing thats what i have to mess with. my temp is kinda high too, its running at 800 and the temp is 53/127, and im guessing that is hella bad, so i think im going to go and put my duron back to 600. but i am going to try and get a better fan/heatsink. please let me know how i can get it higher!!!

Those temps are pretty high if they're at idle, but if that's under full load, it's not too bad. Get a better HSF first, then try upping the voltage.
