I went to repencil my L1 bridges and I noticed that two of the L3, two of the L4, two of the L6, and three of the L7 bridges are cut. I have not heard anyone say anthing about these bridges. Why are they cut. What purpose do they serve. I am stuck at 850mhz.

Yes, because they are cut for the speed specified. Just close the L1 bridges and change the speed with the dips.

Yes there are additional bridges cut.
That's normal. Not all Duron's will go to 900MHz or higher, although a very large percentage do.
You may just be at the low end.

This page has a close up of a a cpu with bridges cut.
