I have had enough of Jumpingman6

I have a serious issue with a fellow Anandtech member, and I want this jerk banned or someone explain to me why his behavior is acceptable. It started with this Thread yesterday, where he personally attacked me because of my post. It appeared that he was banned by a Mod, and the offending post had been edited, so I edited my several posts in various forums asking him for a public appology(which I did not get BTW🙁

I find this kind of harrasment and personal attacks on me and others totally unacceptable. I am Pissed-off

Both Jumpman6 and his alter ego Jumpingman6 have been bounced.

but has since PM'd me and posted to the thread I pointed to. I could care less about swearing, or zealot behavior, I enjoy discussion, but in the almost 7 months I've been member, after lurking for a few months, I have never been personally attacked. Unfortunately(I guess), you can't see his response to my post that started this crap, nor my response(I edited all my posts after I thought he had been banned) clearly stating how I felt about his attack on me.

That particular thread IMHO is distasteful, and serves only to ridicule members of this forum. It would be nice to lock/remove it and realy ban that jerk.

I can let this go, and no punk kid is going to chase me by making untrue slanderous attacks against my person, but he still has me pissed🙁

His PM to me is still in my history BTW.

Thank you Mods, I appreciate it for sure, couple questions however. After I posted a reply in the Video forum at 1:13am PST, I can no longer access the site/forum from my workstation at work. I work long graveyard shifts, and I was going &quot;OH OH, did I just get my self banned?&quot; I tried all the alternate URL's I could come up with, no good. I'm posting this from home without trouble, but:

1. Did I do something wrong? Did someone accidently ban my workstation IP? (I couldn't access from any of the workstations at work, which likely all have similar IP's)

please explain, Sad day for me if I can't haunt the forums here

You are not banned, either by username or by IP. If you were banned, you would still be able to access the site and read forums; you would just be unable to post. If you can't get on the forums at all, the answer likely lies with your ISP, a firewall, our server, or browser oddities.
