Hey all,
If you don't know which language I am referring to, it's the one that Eddie Vetter made famous, and was bastardized and twisted by lead singers of groups such as Creed and Days of the New. The code is really quite simple.
For all vowels, simply replace with the sound "errrr", or "urrrr" where appropriate.
THAT'S IT! There are irregulars, and while they may not be obvious at first, with continued use of the language, they will become second nature. Let's plug the rule into a couple of popular songs to see how they work:
"Can you take me higher?"
--translates to--
"Cerrrrn yurrrrr terrk meeerr hiyurrrrr..."
"Court is in session, the verdict is in..."
--translates to--
"Cuurrrt urs ern serrrshuuurrn, ther verrrrderct ers ernnn..."
Seems to work! Read the translated passages out loud, as HEARING the pronunciation really brings understanding. Practice nightly, and maybe YOU will be able to soon front your own eclectic rock band!
