Please pick one from this link.

I even tried buying a pack of those cheap blue razors and using it once and then throwing it out so I would have a sharp one every time. Still bad razor burn and a few cuts.

here is how i never cut myself shaving

I use only gillette mach3 razors and blades

first wash your face with a good shaving soap. I get mine in Sephora in the men's section. I also have a bar of Mary Kay that I haven't opened yet. Next use a good shaving cream. i avoid the normal drugstore stuff since it has too much alcohol. I like Mary Kay and Kiehls.

For electric shavers the ones with multiple heads (most norelco ones) tend to not offere as close of a shave but also allow you to shave longer hair easier. The single head razors (many of the Braun shavers) will offer a closer shave, but at the cost of pulling hair as you shave less. I still prefer a mach3 turbo after a shower and washing my face, then with the grain, but that is a personal preferance.

None of the above. They're all rotary blade shavers which are a pain.

Norelco 7775X Cool Skin Additive In/Out of Shower Shaver. It works great on my skin. I haven't had a cut in last 2 months and haven't touched my mach3 since I switched to Norelco. I find that it works best in the shower.

I've not cut myself once in shaving several times a week for over 10 years. I've been using the Mach 3 for as long as I can remember though.

My new electric razor just broke and I'm stuck using a razor for the first time in at least 10 years.

This really sucks because it takes longer to shave because my skin is not used to razors anymore and I can't shave as close because I'm worried I'll cut myself.

It's going to be 2-3 weeks until I get my electric razor back.

Take a hot shower before/during shaving & make sure to use a quality cream/gel along with nothing less then a mach3 turbo. :)

actually, shave WHILE IN THE SHOWER, and the 4 bladed razor is much better than the mach 3, IMO

quatro < MAch 3 turbo

Shave more frequently and use an electric trimmer to cut back the longer hairs before you shave. Eventually after cutting yourself so many times, your skin should toughen up some and you'll be able to handle it...it just takes time.

Don't rinse the blade of your shaver with hot water...this heats the blade and can cause irritation....

I started shaving in the shower years ago with no mirror or shaving cream, I just use soap, works fine.

I've tried all the electric razors & they suck, I have pasty white skin & a dark beard, I look like crap without a manual razor shave.

Your face will toughen up over time.

I haven't cut myself in a very long time.

I have a Panasonic Sonic Max shaver that I like a lot. It uses a linear rather than rotary blade and is a wet/dry shaver so you can use it in the shower as well as clean it by taking the cover off and running it under a stream of water.

I got the Braun Activator from Walmart for $129 I think. They dropped the price about a month or 2 ago. I figured a nice one should last a few years, so dropping a bit extra was worth it. I got the 8585 over the 8595 because a pretty LCD screen isn't worth the extra money to me.

Very nice shaver. Comes with a self-cleaning pod that also works very well. I never liked foil shavers till I tried this one. Seems much closer than my previous Norelco rotary shaver. The new foil head might be more than a marketing gimmick. Nice travel case included as well. Very nice package. I'd recommend it. Can't say I do any better using a razor over the Activator.

And don't shave against the grain. Also, move the razor slowly and smoothly across your face with light even pressure and always use a sharp razor.

I shave in the shower every morning. I hardly ever cut myself.

Things I've learned from experience:

Shave in the shower with hot water, shave WITH the grain, don't use the gels. I have had much better luck with the creams than with gels--when I used gel I had cuts all over my face.

Yep. Shower + fresh razor + Edge Gel = Face like a baby's ass.

Wait...that sounded bad.....
