I had the same problem and believe it or not shaving in the shower stopped that. I don't know if it's the hot water or what, but no more cut or razor burn here.

Take a hot shower before/during shaving & make sure to use a quality cream/gel along with nothing less then a mach3 turbo. :)

Or maybe he should, so he's not half asleep in the morning after gaming all night.

Try the m3power. I've tried so many different shave oils/gels/lotions and mach3 turbo. Always always cut myself. M3power is a godsend for the yeti's among us.

actually, shave WHILE IN THE SHOWER, and the 4 bladed razor is much better than the mach 3, IMO

Yep. Shower + fresh razor + Edge Gel = Face like a baby's ass.

Wait...that sounded bad.....

my Mach3 turbo is out of lubricant and the razors are going 4 months and are still good.
Splash some hot water on your face before a shaving job. That's it; works for me

Since noone is actually answering your question...:p

I've used remington, panasonic, braun and norelco. My favorite was a panasonic wet/dry that died after 3 1/2 years. I absolutely hated the norelco, those rotary blades are a pain to get to small areas. Currently I'm using a $40 remington and it works just fine.

I used blades for 2 years but my neck is way too sensitive and no matter what I did or what products I tried, I would get nasty razor burn, switched to electric and all is good. Just remember it will take about a month for your skin to get used to the electric so give it some time before you give up on it.

Buy a straight razor.

you don't need these fancy safety razors or electrics.

I use a Mach 3 Turbo with Edge shaving gel just after getting out of the shower. A good facial scrub helps remove some dead skin and prevents in-grown hairs. An after shave balm helps prevent razor burn. I also try to use fresh blades and avoid shaving too often (my face is not that hairy, so shaving too often can irritate it).

definitely against, otherwise those black stubs will be poking out by noon.

I thought Norelcos were pretty good... :brokenheart:

Braun Synchro 7526 (~$100-$120...I got mine on Ebay, new for $85 shipped)

Beats the hell out of manual shaving. I never shaved this close with a regular Mach 3...ESPECIALLY going with the grain.

I prefer the quattro over the mach 3. Got a free one and it just seems to do a better job IMO.

First with, then against once the length is down. Of course none of this applies if you have a hippie beard(soft & thin).

I always shave after taking a shower in the morning, but every morning I am rushing out the door. The rushing is what causes the cutting, not dumb shaving techniques.

I have tried all the shavers above except for the m3. And I haven't found a differance between gel and cream, so I stick with my nice smelling lemon lime :) .

Just looking for an electric shaver I can use in like 30 seconds - 1 minute.

So far, Remington, Panasonic and Braun seem to be the only mentioned.
