Hey,
I am trying to put togather a little computer for my Bro-in-law and got it ready to go and thought I would make a resouce type CD with the updated drivers and backups of the programs That were installed on it in case he need to format C: . Then I ran winZip and zipped the file to make room for some MP3's that I have D/Led for him. So this is what I have , In "My Documents folder" I have a .zip file tha I name Resouce CD and regardless wether I right or left click on it nothing happens, it just hangs. Mouse cursor is still moveable but I cant close the "My Documents" folder so I hit the famous Ctrl+Alt=Delete to back out of the action and it says "My documents not responding", I click "End Task" and BOOM BSOD everytime. So I cant delete the damn thing and I cant delete the folder it is in, I cant do anything with it. I want it to be GONE. I have to have this ready by Christmas eve and I am starting to panic abit here I am hunting Norton Cleansweep as soon as I am done hoping it will work but figured I would also post just in case. Does anyone know a way I can get rid of this file, Maybe there is a way to do it in DOS, any haelp would be GREAT.
Merry Christmas
Gil

You failed to mention which OS your running (Win2k, 9x, NT?). If your running NT or 2k, check what is says in the upper left hand corner during the bsod (look for the stop code and the line right below that looks similiar to: DRIVER_IRQ_LESS_BLAH_BLAH . You can try heading over the microsoft and do a search in their support page. Have you tried running a quick scandisk to make sure your HD is fine?
