I have been thinking I may need to change my party

They say that in ones youth one is liberal, but the passage of time and the accumulation of experience makes one conservative. I don't know for sure about that, but the passage of time is going to make me rich. Soon all my rich relatives will die and leave me with enormous amounts of old money. So soon, my interests will change to protect it from the clutches of others.

To that end I need to know which of the two parties favors the wealthy. It sort of seems like it's got to be the Republicans, no?

Help me out with your advise.

The Moonbeams make stuff to sell and in particular ammunition, which is why you won't find me in any gun grabber threads supporting that idea. So here is what I see so far:

Republicans are strong on defense which makes me money.

Republicans are against choice which squirts out lots of targets to shoot at and lots of people to shoot.

Republicans favor tax policy for the rich to allow them to keep more of their money.

The right is against labor which costs, or soon will cost me a lot of money.

They are against social progress which keeps labor cheep, if you ask me.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder why I wasn't a Republican before.

Anyway, what other benefits do you see for me in switching?

I got this cool yo-yo recently. It has more positive qualities than either party.

YO-YO 2012!

Both parties suck.

All they are doing is double teaming the country for their own jollies.

You should probably remain independent. Then you can vote for whichever party looks like it's going to win. That's what the wealthy do.

Let's see who donates to the Democrats...

Wow. Lawyers, doctors, bankers, insurance, real estate. That's like a who's who list of the wealthy in this country. Let's try again... which party benefits the wealthy?

First, I would highly suggest incorporating in Delaware, you will need all the legal protection you can get. The Court of Chancery there is the only one still working in the US that has jurisdiction to hear and determine all matters and causes in equity. Means you might get a dispute resolution determined by chancellors basing their decisions on Delaware's 200 years of business case law, rather than a jury of your (mainly) uninformed peers.

Second, you do not need to be a Party member yet. But give the Obama a couple more years and you will soon see which Party will let you continue to do business.

Third, spread your money around. Why do you think independent biznessmen make donations to BOTH Parties, but mostly to the one currently in power? It is in the HOPE the politicians don't bother them. Of course, Obama is anti-capitalism so you are going to be SOOL for a while.

Fourth, I congratulate you and your family for choosing a growth industry. For all that Obama has done, nothing comes close to the boon he has been for the firearms and ammunition providers.

Well that's what I thought too. In my younger care free days, I've never wanted for money, I thought not of its preservation since that was the job of my elders and in those days all I could see was the Republican party being the party of White Trash.

It just makes no sense that the spiritual, or so they tell themselves, the party of the ignorant and uneducated, the poor and culturally backward would also be the party best for the rich? Why aren't all those dirt bags Democrats. That's the party that would really help them. It just makes no sense.

For example, it's the party of that famous fool, ButtMadTom who hasn't even seen the outside of an outhouse.

I know! When you go upon the mountain and gaze down at the masses, you see many who fall one way or another, never with one party having too much more followers than another.

The trailers would sing as loudly as the trump towers, with everyone in the middle somewhere in between.

It is remarkable, but perhaps it is because some of the rich have enough money to brainwash the ignorant, they can even afford their own news channel solely dedicated to those pursuits.

No kidding, I want the old moonbeam back. This new moonbeam is boring.

Be warned. If I really annoy you it's because you have been brought closer to seeing something you don't want to. Boordom is a mental defense that allways comes up with painful feelings.

Be warned. Hehe, what am I saying? You can't warn the blind about anything.

LOL, that's what the Cheif who traded Manhattan for $24 worth of beads said.

I'm pretty sure if the Chief kept the land it would be worth nothing. It is what it is now because the white man bought it.

Do not forget the feel good benefits of trickle down economics. The GOP is helping the working and middle classes by making the wealthy more wealthy.
