I have been converted, now to find out how to get a mac cheaply

Only was converted for photo, and video editing, final cut pro, is so much more amazing than premiere 6.5 is!!

now if only i could find just the mobo, and cpu from a mac.

Premiere is so far behind final cut pro it isnt funny!

Well, you can't just buy the CPU & Mobo from a Mac....

...and as far as "cheap", we *are* talking about a Mac here....

oh i know u cant JUST, but maybe sumone is willing to part ways.

it would be so much cheaper, just to get the mobo, and proc, then get a generic case, and everything else!

If you're doing a lot of video editing, then look into getting Avid Xpress DV 3.5 which comes with both PC and MAC version.

Besides, the fastest P4s and Athlon XPs wallop that in every photo program anyway for a lot less. You like OS X dont you?
