He was thinking about 8 cameras, but i think 6 would be enough.....

Anyways, any set up would work, but a hard drive and computer w/ internet access would be great.

Ive come across the Q-See setup at costco.com, does anyone have any information about that setup?

How about if I get the PCI card version and install it on a computer?

Whats the cheapest way I could get this guy a GOOD setup with about 6 cameras? (two outdoor and 4 indoor)

Internet access is a must, and the cameras have to be pretty good quality, like, able to make out / zoom into a persons face...

Thanks for all suggestions!

I set up my club with a Geovision card that I bought here. I bought there top of the line, the GV-1480,it's been rock solid.

As far as cameras go,you get what you pay for. I didn't need the best but what I bought does the job.

Go to this site to
get alot of info on security systems.

$1,649.99 + tax

if you buy everything SEPERATE, its CHEAPER!!! (cause of the rebates)

The dvr itself with a 200GB hard drive:
http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Produ...=BCCA&topnav=&cat=20101&hierPath=20100*
$764.99

Q-See 4 Professional
Colour CCD Dome
Cameras with Night Vision:
http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Produ...=BCCA&topnav=&cat=20101&hierPath=20100*
$334.99

Colour CCD Cameras:
http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Produ...=BCCA&topnav=&cat=20101&hierPath=20100*

everything together: 1434.97+ tax (and that includes 4 night vision cameras for in the store, that are vanalism free, and take up less room,, and the quality seems to be the same as the others..)
