I have anxiety.

Avoid whatever causes you the anxiety. Avoid doing it, avoid seeing it, avoid thinking about it. Change your lifestyle to facilitate the avoidance.

What are other ways other than medication to control it?

Alcohol.

Or if you prefer a healthier alternative... figure out what is making you so anxious and deal with it.

How's this for anxiety... I'm selling everything I own and quitting my (pathetically easy) $90k/yr job. I'm moving to a place where I don't know a soul and starting a carreer that requires good networking skills in order to succeed. Oh yeah.. I suck at networking. Apparently I'm insane.

And yet, in 10 minutes when I crawl into bed... I will sleep soundly. ZZZZZZZZZZ

Anxiety is a funny thing. I can't sleep while under pressure to save my life, but if me or anyone I was with was threatened, I would be the first to come to our defense.

Anxiety is a funny thing. Some people cant do their jobs, some people lose their hair, some people can't sleep, some keep their hair, but others cant help but to have it all turn grey.

Everyone has a response/reason to why they are stressed and has a certain way to deal with it.

To me the biggest difference will always be HOW they deal with it. The easiest way is never the best.

No one can control the side affects of their anxiety, they can only hope that what they did will play out to be in their best interest.

Cool, can I have your pathetically easy 90k a year job?

BuSpar, Ansial, Anxiron, Axoren, Buspinol, Buspisal, Narol

I took BuSpar for a while about 3 years ago and it seemed to get the job done.

Join a gym. Working out, even if only for 30 minutes, is a great way to treat a number of personal issues like stress, anxiety, insomnia, etc. Go hit the elliptical for 20 minutes and then hit the weights for a bit. I've never left the gym not feeling better than when I went in.

Anxiety is a complex combination of the feeling of fear, apprehension and worry often accompanied by physical sensations such as palpitations, chest pain and/or shortness of breath. It may exist as a primary brain disorder or may be associated with other medical problems including other psychiatric disorders.

looks like you need a real doctor not ATOT

Develop meditative practices... doesn't matter what they are as long as they serve the purpose of self-awareness, self-control, and personal introspection.

Ativan is only for temporary relief and cannot be used as an everyday medicine to cure anxiety because it can be very addictive.

Exercise is the best cure but if you haven?t got time for that try Relagen it works and is 100% all natural product for stress, anxiety, and depression. Is not a prescription antidepressant like Prozac and their no side effects.
