installed on it. It was in 800x600 mode but you lose about 1/4 of the screen, or should I say you have a black border around the screen losing at least 1/4 of its viewing area. I know I have the correct video driver, I found it on their website. I cannot find what the monitor should be called or selected. It is showing now as Super VGA 1280x1024 but I dont know if this is correct or not. When viewing at 640x480 the icons and print look crappy (it is set at High Color 16 bit)but I do get to use 95% of the viewing area. When I reduce it to 800x600 I lose the 1/4 of the screen (it has a big black border).

Any help would be appreciated. I do not have an owner's manual or old disks to tell me what it used to be.

Was hoping someone else had one of these as well and could walk me thru it.

never mind i figured it out, I did not have the standard windows setting, it was somehow set folders to something special, now wetting it to larger screen size keeps everything on the screen and just use large icons and all is fine
