my friend(A) or friend(B) or the school

DEE DEE DEE PPL: bob gave the laptop to Joe to fix. Joe did not lock the locker the laptop was in and it got stolen. Who is at fault

Your friend for being a dumbass and not locking it. Why should the school have to pay for your friend's neglect?

unbelievably i actually understood that, and it's friend B's fault. no point in putting a lock on it and not lock the fvcking lock

Friend (B) FTL 🙁
I suppose its possible to blame Friend (A) for giving the laptop to (B) in the first place, but that was done under the pretense of trust. There is no reason though for (B) to have left the locker unlocked.

I have a sneaking suspision you might be Friend (B) 😉

Friend B should have put a lock on the locker. Putting a laptop, or pricey jewelry, or a stack of $100 bills in a locker and not locking it is just silly.

You certainly do have issues but they are not related to this laptop as it isn't even yours.
