well? anything would help.

I'm thinking he means something along the lines of "don't walk into police dispatcher interview intending to hold the interviewer at gunpoint".

There's no guarantee. For all you know, the interviewer could be prejuidiced against ATOT golden members.

be calm. act as if you don't need the job. be friendly. One trick is to find some way to hold a conversation with the interviewer while still getting all the questions out of the way. I like to use the "Do you have any questions for us?" portion for this.

That's one of the highest-stress and lowest-respect, lowest-paying positions I can think of. Not only are you not on the front lines of whatever's going on, you're also expected to operate CAD, the radio and any other devices properly 100% of the time.

Don't get me wrong; it's an important job, but do you know what you're getting yourself into?

Well, I'll give you that...it's definitely secure. No one else wants a job like that! :p

Good luck though.

*UPDATE*

went to the interview and it was scaryyy.

I thought it was just an easy 1 on 1 interview because it's just a dispatcher position.

anyway, found out it's not. I was being interrogated by 4 members of the board. I was sat in front 4 of them and being fired with questions just as if i'm applying to be an officer. LOL

weird huh? I mean i'm not applying to be an officer, why am i being treated like one? Not only that, i'm going to have to take the psychological, physical, and background check.

Oh yea, i did very well. they seemed to really like me.
