I have an Intel SSD 80G 2G drive with "End to End Error Detection Count" problem (shown in Intel SSD Tool Box/ SMART Attributes)

At Windows installation it gives me error message that the hard drive is bad. I still can ignore it and proceed with the installation. Once Windows is installed I can use the drive just fine.

I am looking for any utility which would allow me to reset the drive to the factory state.

Would "Sanitary Erase" fix the problem, and would it be safe to use on Intel Drive?

I would appreciate any help!
