Ok i got an Asus a8n32-sli deluxe board with corsair xms platinum(2-3-2-6). And i got 721 errors, and it then said it had a unexpected error and could not finnish. And one more thing if the ram is bad how long is corsairs RMA.

Thanks ahead of time.

In my experience, if your ram fails Memtest, it usually means one of 2 things.

A) You may need a bios flash for your memory to run properly.

B) You've got bad ram.

You can also take a look at the voltage setting for your ram. Corsair XMS is hungry ram. It prefers to run above stock voltages. Anyway, check for a bios update. Update if an update is available. Then set your ddr voltage to match the specs of your ram. My XMS ddr voltage spec is 2.7 volts. Save the settings in your bios, reboot, and re-run memtest. If you still fail, your ram is likely bad.

It did not work, i gues i have to RMA them, and buy differnet ram nad sell those.

I just posted about my problem like this. I had memtest errors and was also using Corsair XMS RAM. After I increased the voltages everything is perfect.

Before you RMA the ram, did you try increasing the ram timings in the bios?
It may also be possible to reset the bios to its default timings.

How do i change the timings, and i did reset all defaults.

If you have already reset your bios to its default settings then the RAM should work properly. If the RAM is not working properly after reseting the bios to its default settings then it is a good candidate for an RMA.

You can change the RAM timings by going into the bios, finding the memory timings, and increasing their values. For instance, your 2x512MB RAM probably possesses timings of 2.5-3-3-5 or something similar. Check the actual timings for your RAM's model numbers and set the timings to these values in the bios. The RAM should work. If not then RAM them.
