I haven't installed the Audigy yet, can I expect to have problems with it and the 686 Southbridge? Is the problem just with the Live! cards?

Reviews I've seen indicate that the problem has been resolved for the Audigies. The Audigy is a much newer/better chip so it wouldn't have been hard for Creative to just solve the problem, and I believe that's what happened.

You wouldn't think so, but 8KHA+ utilizes 8233. 8K7A, unfortunately, is plagued with the ubiquitous 686B. Also, it appears the number of people experiencing problems/issues with Audigy and 8233 has been on the increase. Some people have no trouble, others have nothing but. With 8K7A, I'd fully expect issues and be prepared to do a little tinkering and praying 😀

The Audigy works great with my 8K7A+. No problems as far as I can tell under either Win98SE, Win2k, or WinXP.
