I have an additional computer around.. What should i do with it?

I have a P4 2.2ghz, 120GIG HD, 512mb RAM comp.. I don't know what to do with it and NO, i will not sell it cause i'd rather have an extra system than use the cash.

Thing is, ii can't exactly make it into a web server because i have COX for an ISP. and I don't want to fork out the extra cash to get a T1 line..

So what can i do with this extra box??

Any help would be great...

When I get my next rig I'm going to use my current pc to stream internet radio. I send it over wifi to my pocket pc on the back porch. Also, I've got this program called Replay Radio where it automatically records all my internet radio shows throughout the day. Neither of these need a Athlon64 FX or whatever I get by a longshot so that's what I'll be using my old system for. With a KVM switch it should be easy to switch between the two rigs.

Move all your important info on to it in case your machine crashes.
Do a MozBack of Thunderbird and Firefox, put the files over there.
Put all your music and pictures on it.
Get a D-Link router and link the two machine together. I have 3 machines in my computer room, and they are all used at one time or another.

if i wanted to run it as a backup machine for data, how do you guys suggest in makgin backup copies of it?

Use it to learn Linux.

Why not over COX?

Cox in most areas has monthly caps which can be overrun in a matter of days. I had to switch to Cox Business just to maintain my server.
