Even if it doesn't work out, it's always to your advantage to have as many interviews as possible. Each one better prepares you for future ones.

Um, corporate recruiters are usually salaried. Most outside recruiting agencies are struggling or going under in this economy.

Uh.. and if they do get paid by %, it's comes from employer's pocket, not the new hire.

I'm sorry it went like that. Why the fuck did they even have you there if they knew your resume didn't match up well? Seems like a crock of shit.

sorry to hear it didn't go as well as you would've liked. at least it provided some good experience with interviewing.

The people that did the interviews may not have seen your paperwork.

As you found out, PM experience means different things to different companies as well as industres.

what company is this? what industry?

sometimes you would be surprised even if you think you didn't do so well on the interview. I felt the same a few times and I'd get invited back for the next round or get an offer so keep your head up
