There will probably be a case in the next 5-10 years that will overturn DC v Heller. They'll find a legitimate state interest in keeping guns out of individuals homes, just like how they were able to uphold a legitimate state interest when they neutered the woman in Buck v. Bell. If they can argue that you don't have a right to your private parts then how can you possibly say they won't ever take the gun out of your home?
And how exactly will they deal with the South and Midwest, where the state governments are likely to say, "Hell no," regardless of what 1 SCOTUS member thinks (since we seem to have 5:4 votes all the time, now)? In fact, opposing such a gun ban would even be a perfect fit for the original meaning of, "keep and bear arms."

Is a Lee Enfield No1 Mk1 MLE now banned in NY? Because it has a 10 round magazine loaded using two 5 round stripper clips.

If so, did NY just call a rifle dating to 1895 an assault rifle?

No, rifles over 50 years old are apparently exempt. Wonder if I could own a vintage STG-44 modified for semi-auto.
