this kinda pisses me off. there was a thread in FS/FT in which the post itself was not too descriptive. so i sent the guy a pm asking for some further details. he replies that it's already sold. i'm thinking, "someone beat me to it"? so i go back over the thread to see if i can check out who beat me to it. basically... no one in the thread before my claimed to want it. of course i know that doesn't mean someone else can't just skip the "dibs" post and pm him. then i read all the way to the bottom of the seller original post and it goes something like "no dibs, first w/paypal takes". i'm thinking, if u're gonna post something for sale like that, shouldn't u be a little more descriptive? that way, i wouldn't have had to waste my time (and the sellers') to pm asking for more details on the product and its condition. so what's the moral of this story? people in FS/FT are animals!

i dunno if he's a newbie or not, but i'm just a little ticked that if the post itself was more descriptive, i wouldn't have lost the bit of time it took to ask him for more details. of course it's possible that the person who ended up buying the thing could have beat me by a landslide time frame, but still. what if i were to have gotten it on time. with no details about the products and the terms of sale... in order for me to get it, i'd have to pay him via paypal right away. and when i get the thing... i'd have no idea whether it was oem/retail, or of its condition. i understand ppl abuse the function of "dibs"... but when utilized correctly, it is very useful :p
