Hi,

I have a ATI RADEON VIVO 64mb DDR..the new drivers register it as a RADEON 7200. This card ran for me since almost 1 1/2 years flawlessly. I may buy a used Gainward GF3 Ti200 64mb from a member, but I would like to know if there would be actually any performance increase, or any better in anyway. He selling the card for like 45 bucks, so I was thinking of maybe getting it for my main machine and using the vivo in a second machine. (low budget as of right now)

My second question, is in fact the radeon vivo 64 using the same chip as a radeon 7200?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

The gf3 will be faster than the radeon. If I recall correctly it does use the 7200 chipset, but is clocked a little higher.

I owned both of those cards and the ti200 is MUCH faster, and it's definately worth the price. I bought a second one after I fried my first for $50 and it is still a good performer in some of the newer games.
