I have a question:

I am interested in purchasing a new Athlon 64 939 cpu and have been looking into the AMD 64 3000 939 CPUs. I have noticed that there are two different Venice models. The ADA3000BPBOX and the ADA3000BWBOX - E6 - . Does anyone know the differences and which is more desirable?

the older e3 is better for overclocking.

there were rumors going around the e6 was better but i heard someone had photoshoped screenshots and stuff.

0512/15/17/19 from what i can remember were the best... but some of the newer ones are good too... but dunno the stepping

what Shimmishim said
the E6 for the most part are crap overclockers compared to E3
many can't hit 2.4-2.5ghz
with E3 you were almost guaranteed 2.6ghz and some went over 3.0ghz

best steppings are the above weeks, especially week 17 ending in *PAW, *PEW, *PMW, *PGW, *PCW, *PDW, *PBW, *PIW
