I have a question for anyone around my age who has crossed the border recently into Canada.

I am 16 will be going to Canada next week alone and I am wondering whether I will have to have a letter of consent from my parents...

Will I?

I read somewhere that only minors under 16 years of age have to have written consent to show to border officials in Canada, but I don't know if it is true, so I would like to verify it.

Well, when I was 15 and went to canada on a field trip, I was told there are no exceptions that we must have a permission slip.
