Is there anything wrong with me, a british white man, using an avatar that resembles a black man? Apparently, some one did have a problem with it, and tried flaming me for it in one of my own threads.

i'm not a mushroom, nor have i tried drugs or shrooms or whatever you call them nowadays.

avatars are just what you "feel," for lack of better word. if you feel like you wanna have a black dude's avatar, by all means, take it. we only have a limited number of options available for avatars anyway (e.g. no custom ones, for example).

in any event, ignore the guy who flamed you. some people have nothing better to do with themselves and consider such activities "quality" posts. let him think he triumphed by berating you. you're not wrong; he is.

I don't recall seeing any posts where he gave the impression that he was black.
