As most of you know, I just moved to Virginia. Well, my boyfriend's mom and I were thinking about day care. Do any of you know how to find out the Virginia laws for starting your own day care center? Like, what are the building codes and how many children per each adult, and licenses, etc.....

Right on. Thanks you guys. I'm usually great with searches and things, but I'm brain dead today. Staying up late and waking up during the night isn't helping. lol We live in Front Royal, VA for those of you that asked. It's near Winchester, VA.

When you've4 done some research, maybe you can give us some insight on why daycare is so expensive, yet they typically pay only minimum wage.
