I have a question about the RIAA and MP3's.

Couldn't one just say the song is on the radio and its free there. Also I could tape a song off the radio and not get in trouble so whats the problem with mp3's that are only 128kbps?

songs on the radio aren't free, royalties are paid for them, it is free for you to listen to them live, but you can't copy it per the law. Also, does anyone else notice that the tempo in songs seems to be a little faster than they used to be. like they are being sped up??

Oh I thought it was free... if its free to listen to isn't that the same thing though? I thought you could tape stuff from the radio. Oh well.
