I have a question about the display on my hacked Virgin webplayer

So I have this hacked Virgin Webplayer running Windows98. It works fairly well, except when I look at it head-on all the colors are the negative of what they should be. If I view it at an angle the colors are correct. Is there anything I can do about this? Is there some way I could use a "color profile" to fix it? Thanks,
