I have a Portrait sketched in Pencil, how do I sell it?

It's a Robbie Burns portrait that he had posed for, the artist's name is G. McCulloch who apparently Burns owned money to. The portrait approx 1770 or so. What is the best way to sell this Sketch? The dimensions are 12" x 15" and it is framed.

I would do some research on the artist, see if he has either a foundation or living family members and contact them to see if they have suggestions, and barring that, I'd contact local antique dealers, art galleries and places like that to see what they suggest. They might be able to point you in the direction of someone who specializes in stuff like that.

Online auction would be the most convenietn way to sell it. However, contacting galleries and the like for info would be advisable.
