have you checked out cheaperthandirt.com for ammo? they have a cool feature to sort by cost per round.

CTD is horrible for many reasons. www.ammoengine.com for the same thing but your still limited to certain e-tailers. Good old fashioned bargain hunting and slickguns.com typically returns better deals.

Luckygunner has some good prices, but most of my ammo comes from wal-mart.

I watch the sales papers; when gander mountain or academy sports and outdoors has a sale, I bring the sale paper to walmart and get them to do a price comparison (comp ad).

Like this week, Gander mountain has ammunition on sale from November 10 - 16.

Remington core-lokt 30-30 is something like $10 a box.

Remington core-lokt 243, 270, 30-06 and 308 on sale for $13 a box.

Winchester and federal is on sale as well, but its more expensive then the remington prices right now.

My wife and I are going to walmart this evening, I will probably pick up a box of 30-30, box of 270 and a box of 308.
