God must hate me. First I developed pin-hole leaks in my copper pipes that caused me to open up my basement ceiling to find the leak and then I find little turds all over the desk and ironing board in my basement.

The little turds were tiny so I thought it was from some insect (maybe a cricket or something -- I've seen those in my basement) but I thought it was weird a cricket could climb up onto the surface of my ironing board and take a crap there.

Well, as I was watching my Season 7 SG1 DVDs I saw something black streak out from my TV stand towards the basement stairwell. I'm not sure what it was but I think it was a mouse! I went into the basement but couldn't find it. It moved really fast! As I scanned the area around my TV stand and the basement stairs, I found 3 tiny turds so now I think the turds are mouse turds. But they are so tiny I thought they were insect turds.

How the heck do I get rid of the mouse?

Place a air conditioner on the floor and it will go in there and then you can freeze it. ;)

You are going to need a cage, some cat food and some sleeping pills...

Was it tiny? I just want to make sure those turds really were mouse turd and not insect turd. What's gross is that I actually touched the ones on my ironing board. I thought they were lint and then I realized it was some kind of turd.

Shotgun, and for more fun make it a 10guage. Now put your ear on the floor and listen for it. For more advice and useful tips please consult the movie "Mouse Trap".

Kill them and kill them fast before they start to multiply and take over your home. I started to hear scratching in the walls last week and found some droppings next thing I know i've trapped 7 of the little f'ers.

I live in Maryland. I don't know how it got into my house. The only thing I can think of is that I have a pipe from my water heater that goes outside. Other than that, I have no idea how a mouse could have entered my house.

I just placed an order for this trap:

What kind of pee do mice have? On one of the basement table I found some yellow substance that looked like oil but had a sickly sweet scent to it. One of my USB cables was touching it and now I'm thinking about throwing it away.

I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night because I kept thinking about that mouse. I shut the door to the basement stairs but I was worried that he was still in my living room (I have 3 floors) and I kept worrying about whether he was on top of my kitchen table eating my food and leaving poop all over the place.

Now I'm afraid to go down to my basement. I haven't worked out there in awhile because of the mess from opening up my ceiling and having the plumber replace some piping and now the mouse is down there.
