I have a Logitech Harmony 659... what do I need to control my PC?

I just use the IR thing that came with my WinTV PVR-350.

BTW, good luck programming the remote without windows. You have to use the software to program it. At least that's the case with my 720.

I have that remote for 4 years now It has finally stoped working properly RIP

That's pretty much it...an IR receiver for your computer, either USB, serial, or whatever. USB UIRT is a great way to go 🙂
