I have a lite-on CDRW, can i use plextors firmware update with it?

i thought i heard somewhere that you can use plextors firmware with this burner....... since they are pretty much the same thing, or am i wrong?

No, that is for the Iomega,TDK, or Creative Labs 12-10-32 burners
I have a TDK 12 10 32 and did it to mine, but ther's no going back after you do it.

try www.cdrinfo.com . They have a lot of information about firmware and which version is compatible with some cdrw.
