I have a HD LCD TV but...

If you don't have a digital signal and are like me using basic cable... is there anyway to improve the picture using one of those HDMI cables?


Or do I need a cable box for that?

You would need an HD cable box that outputs in HDMI to use an HDMI cable. If you are only inputting analog cable into the TV, you can only use analog RCA cables, or a direct coax input.
