I have a great idea for a program (to be used by ATers), but I can't figure out how to do it...little help?

I was inspired by the "what are you listening to right now" threads..

The idea is to have a General Purpose plug-in for winamp that will read they title of the song being played and then display it in the sig by updating the profile.

I looked at the winamp SDK and writing a plugin that gets the song name would be easy. But the tough part is, how do you insert that info into the sig? Would it be possible to send a properly constructed URL (considering that the user has set AT to automatically log them in) to AT to make it look as if the user is updating their profile? Anybody know how I could construct that URL?

yes it would be possible. I figured it out a while ago so I could post a link that would pull up all my past tips of the day. It was not fun or easy.

What would be really cool is a program to intercept incoming packets with the URLs to the smilies in them, and replace the URLs with ones pointing to the old smilies.

They have plugins that will allow people to access your computer and see what you are listening to. There is also a plugin that allows you to controll either Winamp or QCD via the web...
