I have a Fraud Claim filed in paypal, if i repurchase the same item can i hurt my claim

I bought poker chips and in the last month the guy has ripped off 4 ebayers (had good record before that)

so i rebought the chips from a store on ebay and can pay them directly with cc or through paypal.

does it matter since i have a claim on paypal anyone know if it will hurt my claim?

other people have already gottne their money back from this guy, but i havent
