I never really pushed it since I bought it - the front swaybar was missing the driver's side endlink and the tab was torn on the strut, so I couldn't just swap the endlink out.

So, I bought a bunch of new stuff and started tearing into the suspension (see this thread) - pulled the springs off the struts a few minutes ago and discovered that the stock shocks (at least a couple- didn't check them all) were blown.

I'll be going from disconnected front swaybar and blown shocks to working Suspension Techniques swaybars and Koni Yellows. It's going to be a great summer!

You sure will. I'm currently at a local suspension tuner having my Miata molested. They're going to set up some coilovers and do an alignment for me.

Even with the worn shocks and stock springs it was fun to drive. I'm sure the same is true for you. The Koni yellows are highly favored in the Miata world as well. They should get the job done.

It's a good feeling to have, that's for sure. I have to store my fun summer car each winter, so every spring I get to fall in love again. :)

I had Koni yellows on a '94 Mustang GT I used to own. Great struts, loved the adjustability on them and they really improved the stock suspension feel.
