I have a Dell Inspiron 2650 with a Geoforce2 GO video card...when ever I play a video file it plays on both the LCD and any monitor that I have connected to VGA port on the laptop; this really bugs me. I want to be able to play the video on one screen and do something else on the other (like I can with the Matrox G400 dual-head card on my desktop).

But I can open separate files of other types (for example, a Word file and a browser) in each screen with the laptop but it won't allow me to do that when I am playing a video file.

Any idea if anything can be done about this?

yes it does....I have a second monitor hooked up to the geforce 2 go and it works but not to a tv.
