should i cancel the date because i dont want to look like sh!t when i see him. this may be the make it or break it date.

if i go i might get him sick too. or he might be disgusted from my constant sneezing and coughing.

If it would make/break a relationship because you got sick and had to cancel one date (after dating for a month) then that relationship wasn't going to make it anyway.

buk.... er... wait, no... just tell him you're sick, he will understand...

"If it would make/break a relationship because you got sick and had to cancel one date (after dating for a month) then that relationship wasn't going to make it anyway." <- couldn't say it any better myself.

No, I mean this may be the make it or break it date because its been so slow that I don't know if I am still interested in him or not (so this date will let me know).

hes a nice guy im sure he wont break it off just cause I cancelled. plus he's a nurse 😉

just tell him the truth...if he's still getting to know you, he might not be comfortable enough to be around a sick person, especially in...closer quarters.

Just put a bag over your head . . . and, oh, yes, a sock in your mouth . . . for, you know, medical reasons.

If he likes you he will NOT care about if you are sick or not. I know I wouldn't.

if he thinks that you're lying and doesn't trust you, what's the point in dating the guy anyway?

but to be honest, i know i'd be disappointted too... but then again life is full of disappointments so he just have to deal with it.

oh wait, when i was dating my wife, she was kinda shy and at first, she pretended to be sick. and didn't want to go out... i showed up made her a sandwich and chicken soup.

i think i score some major points on that one. but i'm lazy now.

Just don't go, what's the big deal? Tell him you're sick and reschedule for when you feel better.

we scheduled for this date since Monday so it would be rude of me to cancel last minute. plus he worked today from 6:30am-7pm and still wants to go eat with me so the least i could do is go out with him no?

If you are really feeling crappy, then be honest with the dude, and let him know. He will obviously feel disappointed, but you cant really help that.

Just take some meds, and go. Also bring tissues, for those crazy booger sneezes. 🙂

Go. Maybe change the plans a bit if you're doing a semi-fancy thing, and just got to a quieter place, but still go.
