I don't really want to impress her per se. I just want to have some decent fun. I don't want to spend too much $$ either.

As you can see I'm not too excited about her as I'm still at the "alright, try to win me over" stage. I asked her out anyway for fun.

What should I do? I live near by Boston.... I get out of work at 6pm, the sun will be plenty up for about 3 hours.

Please bring in ideas for a 'financially sensible' date.

Keep in mind, I'll call her as soon as I get the perfect ideas from you. You can make a difference! lol.

Honestly? This is the completely wrong question. Just do things that you personally enjoy doing. If you put on a front, you're going to be stuck with it throughout your relationship. Do you like going to movies? Take her to a movie. Do you like ice cream? Take her out for ice cream. Things like that 🙂

My wife watched all three LOTR movies with me; it wasn't too long after that that I proposed 😉 I knew I married the right girl when she got me a Titanic subwoofer for my HT for my birthday a couple weeks ago and said she wanted to re-watch all 3 extended-edition movies 😀

Go for dinner, walk to an icecream shop or something, and then go for a walk... on a beach if there is one around. Thats how my last date went... was probably one of the best dates I have been on, it was totally relaxed we talked for 4 hours... something like that will get you good results 😀
 
first, go home and get a shower. shave and before you head out to your date, hide a semi rigid bar in your pants.

Find out what she likes to do, and go with it. If she likes going to plays, movies, museums, long walks, parks, ice cream... etc etc Then go do that. Find out somehow, or just ask her, honestly. Ask her what she likes, then say "Oh, you want to go do ______?".

She'll probably be more than happy to oblige.
 
Perhaps if you could gather the collective intelligence of all the geeks on this board, and somehow channel it into the date. Dating 2.0 maybe?
