I have a cold

I hardly ever get sick. I've never had an ear infection, sinus infection, or the flu. But now I have a cold. I haven't had a cold in at least five years. This sucks that I'm going to be sick all weekend - not like I had any plans or anything.

But why can't the right side of my head drain at the same rate as the left side? And even though Puffs Plus is soft, why can't they make anything softer than that?

I feel like crap and I'm going to have crusty dried nose skin on Monday when I go to work. 🙁
 
Don't you hate it when you blow your nose too much and it hurts to touch it with tissues, but you need to anyway?

It sucks.
 
Nyquil helps, codeine helps even more if you got any, and get plenty of rest. I find sleep is my best friend when I'm sick.
 
Cry me a river, try moving around to different towns every couple of years, you won't go a year without a cold. Grow up you baby!
 
Newnameman - I don't feel like a beer at all.
Aflac - Yes it sucks. Somebody needs to come up with softer tissue. LOL
Ranmaniac - I have Nyquil at the ready. Codeine does nothing for me but I do expect to be sleeping a lot tomorrow. I have some decongestant pills a friend gave me but they're not working that well. I hate taking medicine.

Brutus - I've been trying to read 'Lovers & Players' so maybe I should try that again.
Merlyn - The output of fluid from my eyes and nose and throat might constitute a river's flow. I really don't want any more of that and I hope you don't wish that on me. 🙁

It's been ages since I read 'The Stand' and I'd have to go to the library to read it again since I don't have it. The library doesn't need to worry about me getting that book this weekend. 😉
