Ur mad about one C? A C is average IIRC, so having one average grade and alot of good grades (your A's etc) is not a horrible thing. Just deal with it, cant be perfect at everything.

i think he ment an 84% average which is like a B, 3.1 or so

yea a C isnt bad, its better then thoes D's and F's

Nah, my GPA was a 0.84. Like in Animal House.

parody? 😛 Makes no sense - when you have that degree in your hand, GPA means NOTHING.

No, I'm not joking. I'm mad.

My GPA going in was a .84 since there was miscommunication on my part about me wanting to drop my classes back in 1999.

If I even want to have a shot at grad school, I need straight As for the rest of my undergrad career.

.84...damn....how in earth did you manage to even stay in school?

I didn't. I stopped going after my mom died and I thought that I dropped all of my classes. Apparently I didn't.

They never figured out something was up when you stopped taking tests and turning in any other work? Most schools would at least send a letter if something like that happened.

I have a "c" in all my classes.....as well as 3 S's, an "e" and one "a". 😉

No 'l's?

It turns out that everyone in the class has a C, which led to outrage and cursing when it was brought up. The teacher said he'd explain why tomorrow.

Are you on the 10 year plan? 😛

Uh... um... no...😱

I dropped out because I was smarter than the teachers, doctorate earners, the entire profession, and the school put together (or so I thought at the time) and didn't need any of their fancy "diplomas" or "job placement", plus I was really depressed after my mom died.

After 6 years in the real world, I've leaned a few things:

1. No matter how great you think you are, there are always a *lot* of people better than you.
2. Having a degree means a lot to many employers.
3. Superficial knowledge of subjects is great to show off, but if you don't understand it, it's just fluff.
4. Life is expensive.
5. I really like school.

So here I am, humbled and bleeding, back to try again and work my way up.

1999??? Been in school a few extra semesters? If you are pulling grades like that, then you are really smart or your school is really easy. That, or maybe you just arent an engineering major...I'd love to pull grades like that.

No, I went to school, dropped out, then started up this semester.

Is my school easy? Yes.
As far as my major, it's math/physics.
