*Cough* Excuse, me: Batter-y

Can I do anything interesting with it? I have a myriad of cheap parts... nothing big and expensive. No industrial capasitors, and I don't know if my transformers can handle it.

BTW: It's from a 720VA UPS. If someone wants it I could sell it.. before I fry it. :)

Grab one of those monstrous capacitors they use in car audio... The ones that are like one farad.

My God those things would be fun...

Here, kitty kitty...

My fiance is learning how not to hit like a girl, my big flabby gut and arms would not be able to withstand her retalliation. :D

you should make some leads off of it and put alligator clips on them. then you should take apart something electric you have lying around, i.e. an old radio, television, VCR. Then you should pull off the little resistors and capacitors and other electric stuff and fry them one at a time.

12v, so it can put out about 100amps native, right? Hmmm.

I have managed to rip apart a CDROM, and attach the CD holder to the motor that ejects/retracts the tray. The main motor seems to be a form of stepper, must be for speed control.

It whirls really really fast, and will make 3 laps around my apartment if it gets dislodged. :D
