i have (6) 500mhz hp computers with 64mb ram...

link them together to process seti together....i decided i might as well put them to use running seti, than letting them sit....how would i go about linking them as one...sort of like they do with supercomputers....what distro of linux?

Actually, all you need to do is network them all together, give them an internet connection, then install seti on each one, under the same user name. Hackaday had an artical on Folding@home, which is similar, which might give you some helpfull hints. Also, you can pretty much pick any flavor of linux you want, as long as it's at least somewhat up to date.
