So I have four seperate PAGES which need to be mounted on one BIG sheet of paper.

I have 4 1x2 pages and I want to make ONE big 4x8 poster. How do I do that?

Combining them all onto one Powerpoint presentation and then printing as PDF will not work; when I copy over the placement of the text, images screw up.

Idea?

1) Convert them ALL to .pdf format.
2) Open up Adobe Acrobat.
3) File --> Create PDF --> From multiple files
4) Order them which ever way you'd like
5) ...
6) Profit!

This is assuming you have the full version of Acrobat.

Useful! Must try when I get to work tommorow. What do you mean by "order".. can I choose the placement as well?

Good job reading there.

by the semicolon i understood that copying it to pdf gave you errors which is usualyl not the case. even so, i recommended a freeware pdf writer jsut in case adboe was giving you issues.

edit: that, and if would've actually visted teh site you would see that their freeware can actually do what jumpr told you

Yup, you can move pages (I'm assuming it'll be 1 slide per page?) around as much as you want. It's in the "Document" menu.

make a new slide as big as you want it to be, copy paste all the old slides on the new slides, print out on a plotter. You may have to mess with the formatting a little, but that'll happen when you change stuff.

there's an option in powerpoint that allows you to print more than one slide per page..

click on print, then in the "print what" drop down list, click on hand outs, then change the options on the handouts page.. that should work..
