I have 2x XFX Geforce 6600 GT, but so slow?

I am testing my current sytem build (in signature) but for some reason in farcry when i do auto detect video settings, it inputs everything to LOW performance?

I tried manually putting them into VERY HIGH and it looks nice and all but the shadows are just BLACK rendering i dont even see the grass anymore...

Maybe bad drivers? I updated my drivers to : 71.84 from Nvidia

any help is apprecitaed.
 
It doesnt properly detect SLI (thats why it defaults to low settings).

Get the 1.3 patch for farcry to fix the IQ issues.

That was to fix the graphics issues, the autodetect function in FC doesnt work right with SLI, just adjust the settings manually.
 
Don't use auto-detect for games, they usually don't judge the correct settings for your system. It's recommended to manually adjust settings.
